Ampthill Deli and Kitchen is a truly independent shop based in the heart of Ampthill, Bedfordshire. Founded by me - Claire, it was an idea thought up after a long career in hospitality and catering.

My love of working in the industry started at a very early age when I used to "help" my Nanna in the sweet shop she worked in and "helped" my Grandma bake cakes for the WI stall. My mum also had her own catering business while I was very young, providing home cooked meals to local people. I have always loved preparing and serving food and have worked in many pubs, restaurants and catering businesses through the years.

The Deli was created to provide a hub for local people where we could work with local producers and businesses to create a welcoming and friendly space. Serving great coffee, homemade cake and yummy lunches to eat in or take away.

The Deli shop side of the businesses has been growing over the last couple of years and we currently have a great selection of artisan cheeses, pork pies, sausage rolls amongst lots of other goodies to take away. We also have a fantastic range of hampers that are perfect gifts for foodies!

My passion for customer service and excellent products has always been at the forefront of what we do at the Deli and is hopefully what shines through when you come and visit - we look forward to seeing you soon!
